12 But [a]as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become (A)children of God, (B)to those who [b]believe in His name, 13 (C)who were [c]born, not of [d]blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.

14 And (D)the Word (E)became flesh, and (F)dwelt among us; and (G)we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of (H)grace and (I)truth. 15 John *(J)testified about Him and called out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘(K)He who is coming after me has proved to be [e]my superior, (L)because He existed before me.’” 16 For of His (M)fullness [f]we have all received, and [g]grace upon grace. 17 For (N)the Law was given through Moses; (O)grace and (P)truth [h]were realized through Jesus Christ.
